You know branding and setting up a website is important for your business, but what about when you're just getting going? I mean hiii there are so many things to get in order when you're getting going and sometimes the idea of picking out a design for your website today that will also work for your business 6 months.. and 5+ years down the road in a little intimidating. While building lasting branding elements and websites are always a priority with our projects we totally understand that sometimes the framework you need today is a little different than what you need tomorrow.
Cue our latest project with Lynette Nicole PR. Not only is Lynette our go-to for all of our public relations projects, but she's also one of our dearest friends. So you can be sure that as soon as she told us she was leaving the agency world to build her own business we were right there by her side. YOU GO GIRL! 1.) for selfish reasons.. because we'll be able to work with her on more projects now and 2.) because this girl is such a go-getter and has been dreaming of doing this for years!
While Lynette knew she needed a logo and a website, she's way too busy setting up interviews for clients with the press and meeting with her network to build anything too elaborate right now. Which is why we suggested nailing down her logo, basic branding elements and building her landing page website. That way, she can start building an identity for her business and highlight some of her basic services for online leads, without having to provide too much content for the time being. So much of Lynette's business is customized by talking to potential clients too so the landing page served her purpose just right.
This project was so much fun to work on because Lynette really gave us creative freedom to develop the branding for her. We decided to go with a bright color palette and also integrate New York elements into the mix. Lynette is a New Yorker tried and true and we thought the city elements with the bright colors would give people just a taste of her personality while also showcasing her services.
For this project, we used the platform WIX to build a one-page scrolling website. To add a little character we added a video element for desktop version of the website, while also designing a backdrop that would also look great on tablet and mobile devices that aren't video compatible yet.
We could not be more excited for Lynette's latest career and girl boss adventure and are so excited we got to help her get started on the right foot! Check out Lynette's new website for yourself and learn more about some of the services she offers!
